These two large pots were offered to Katikati Open-Air Art to use as a base for an artwork by the Katikati BNZ Bank. During the 2015 New Zealand Mural & Art Festival, Birgitt Shannon was commissioned to decorate the pots in the theme of the festival. In 2016 Dennis Walter was commissioned to design and create a kinetic sculpture to give the pots a moving feature.
