Nominate your hero from 2020! Do you know of someone who did great deeds during ‘2020’ but received little or no recognition for them? Katikati Open Air Art would like to celebrate and acknowledge the individuals in our community who gave outstanding service to those isolated and in need during the ‘unprecedented’ times of 2020. The chosen heroes will have their portraits painted as part of the NZ Mural Contest and placed together to form one large mural to be installed in our town as a reminder of this challenging time in modern history.
NOMINATION CRITERIA: - Nominations must be received by June 30th, 2021. - You can nominate anyone who did an outstanding service to those who were isolated or in need during the pandemic period in 2020. That service can be big or small, numerous times, or a one-off occasion. Your nominee could have helped out physically, emotionally or were just great support to someone in the time of need. - You can nominate an organisation, but it needs to be represented by one individual. - Your nominee must agree to be nominated.
