Michelle is a self-taught artist who has been painting and carving for the last 14 years. Acrylic pouring is her main medium, followed by wood and pumice carvings.
The inspiration for this exhibition is a beautiful woman Michelle cares for 24/7. This woman is in the late stages of dementia, and it is too late to record her incredible life story.
Michelle has therefore, created these beautiful pieces to tell her story. She is inspired by the woman’s stories, and when she closes her eyes and listens, she can see the story unfold in colour onto the canvas. She hopes you enjoy the story as it unfolds before your eyes.
